Ball Control Rating

Does anyone know if the ball control rating is ball handling or how often they run the "point"? For instance, would LeBron be a 99 since he runs a lot of the offense, or would Kyrie be a 99 since he has the best handle in the league? Thanks

Welcome to 2k. Ball controlled =how well player can dribble or hold the ball without turning it over.

If they orchestrate plays, "run the point as you say", enable the play initiator within the players first tab. It will make players dribble the ball from one court to another and initiate plays.

There is also a tendency "touches" for the amount of plays called for each player.

Dribbling animations are used to differentiate what you call handles, ball handling is what the above post describes which is not losing the ball.

Pffft ..i get ripped all the time with Max playmaking.

I miss alley oops with Max playmaker. Literally, with gold lob city passer, Max playmaking, I'll see the ball bounce off the receivers hand or he won't even catch it. Let's not talk about low pass trajectories and super high jumping by the cpu, but playmaking means next to nothing other than certain dribble animations won't work right.

It's asinine.
