How to have LESS field goal attempt per game?

I think with the field goal attempt category is badly done for 2k15, anyway to have this number lower? Let's say I do want to play 12 mins per quarter, what do I have to do to keep the stats for this category realistic?

It's a few things.

1. Play legit offense. Don't chuck quick shots every play.

2. Don't allow more than 10-12 offensive boards per game. Any more than this results in quick shots.

3. Have turnovers high. You want about 12 per team.

4. Make sure teams average 20-25 free throw attempts per game.

You nail these things, you'll get teams averaging 85-90 shots per game.

Thank you bro for these helpful hints…but I am actually looking for sliders help…

Like how to create more realistic turnovers, I tried lowering the passing accuracy but it is so stupid the guys just throw the ball out of bounce, but in real basketball, turn overs don’t come this way, it comes from intercepting the ball and then the ball gets loose and the guys go for it and see who gets it, if opponent gets it, then you get at turnover, so how to change certain sliders to get these actions going?

Also, how do having the right free throw attempts help getting the field goal attempt in a realistic number? What is the connection in between (sorry for being noob lol)?

yeah dropping pass ratings ends up with brain dead TOs.

Try upping the 'play passing lane' tendencies and steal ratings up to 70 or so.

Free throws help because a player who is fouled when shooting does not have that shot attempt count as a FG.

Would play passing lane being upper leads to too many steals then? I have steal success at 50 and stealing at 55 which seem okay for now...

I had it at 75/80. There arent enough turnovers otherwise.

Turn your play calls on a run the plays keeps tempo perfect
