Ratings really matter in this regard. Many players are rated to high in ORB. I lowered the ratings to an absurd extreme;i'm talking players in the 40s/50s in rebound ratings with major exceptions like DeAndre and Drummond and things look better. Helps with sim stats too.

I think you are placeboed into believing 0 and 0 is any different than 50 and 50. It is a ratio. It needs to be adjusted in according to the other. 0 and 0 won't be any different. All you will see is more dropped rebounding attempts.

But what if I have 75 off and 25 for def for both user and cpu, then both sides will be able to grab more off rebounds right?

Try it. The biggest issue like someone said is ratings.

But we also don't know HOW you play. That plays a part in it as well.

I think your main problem is that you're playing 6 min quarters. NBA teams usually only get around 12 off rebounds a game, so you're really setting yourself up for at most 5 Off boards a game with 6 min Q.

Add into it that it's harder to get Off rebounds in 2k than in real life and your shooting %s are usually higher in 2k as well, and that gives you 2-3 offensive boards a game.

If you're really trying to settle into some good sliders, you should probably play on at least 10min quarters to really see some realistic stats. The sliders board has some really great starting points.

Bro, the FGM / FGA are too high in this game, so may I please ask, if having the FGM / FGA too high in this game, should OREBS AND DREBS be higher as well to keep the stats more realistic? This is still not good enough to me even when I set the OREBS at 75 and DREBS at 25 for both teams, I am going to rest it to OREBS at 55 and DREBS at 45 for both teams and see...
