On the break, how do you have your POE's and offensive systems set?
Are you on Get to the Basket, Feed the Post? Or how about Get Shooters open? It matters.
Also, positioning on break is different for Pace, 3 out 2 in, 4 out 1 in, Eighties, Swing, Triangle and so on. Do you know the differences?
Because that matters too.
I used to experience what you are describing on the break. The I learned what I was doing wrong that was making it happen and fixed it.
The post spacing access issue pops up most when I call a play that requires the players on the floor to do a lot of movement to get set up. Not everyone gets into the right space at the same time. I know what you are talking about but it can be minimized by setting POE to Feed the Post or to a specific player and calling a smart play before you get past half court. The CPU will pick a play from your playbook that fits your POE and players will set up early.
You can do the same after passing half court and the CPU will look first for a play that matches in your playbook that fits the current default freelance system. If it doesn't find one, it will run a play from the freelance system. The advantage of calling a smart play after crossing half court is it will pick the play based in part on current player spacing, so the amount of shuffling to get to the play is minimal.
Not saying this stuff can't improve. Czar had half a development cycle to get freelance in place at all last year. It will be better this year. But to say that off ball freelance movement is terrible or broken? Sorry, you have no idea what you are talking about or how to use it.

Um yes i know the difference between 3 out 2 in and 4 out 1 in etc....lol
i played basketball at a high competitive level....
So to insult me and say i have no clue as to what im talking about is humorous
and for you to acknowledge that there is something wrong with it and then bring up workarounds doesnt mean that it is the users fault lmao.
People love saying someone doesnt know how to play the game cause they are 2K fanboys instead of admitting the game isnt perfect
