Passing is AWFUL in 2k at the moment!

The problem with double teams is that whoever has done the tech advising for the game hasn't explained to the 2K guys that double teams cause the offense to go to automatic spots/cuts based on player and ball position at the moment of the double.

Something like that should be tied to the freelance offense that you select.

Agreed, as far as I can tell selecting space the floor does absolutely nothing.

Have you tried to use post/protect the ball with Y on double teams? I get much better passing angles using this.

It's crazy how bad passing is after so many years, it's easily the most frustrating thing because every game has at least 5-10 WTF moments (random throwing out of bounds, passing to guy close to you when there's a fast break opportunity, passing it to someone behind causing over and back, few random steals by the CPU because they have eyes in the back of their heads etc.).

I wish there was a way to choose pass type when you icon pass. Right now its random.

The only "feel good" passing in 2K is making and executing an alley oop. Now that says a whole lot about the basic core passing mechanics.

I've complained about it the last 2 years on xbox live lol. Is this not a forum to discuss the game? I wasn't aware a month before the release of the new game we couldn't have an opinion. Did I somehwere demand that it be fixed in 2k16 or else? I'm simply here discussing the game which I thought was the purpose of this forum. Not to mention I am quite certain they have heard this complaint before. Nor do they rely on me to help them decide what to devote time to in the development cycle.
