Need help with some MATH here...something wrong with Faried's salary?

Sorry if I am going to sound extremely stupid, but shouldn't his salary be 10.47mil per year instead of 2.37mil??? Is this a bug or a salary system that I am not understanding myself??? Thank you!

That could just be his salary number for that season. Did you sign him to an extension that season? I'm not too sure how salary extensions work on here anymore because I haven't played too much MyGM.

I went into MyLeague and took a look at Kenneth Faried's contract and it seems it is set-up this way from real life. His money takes a large jump from the first year to second year ($2.37m to $11.24m) then gradually increases over time.

Kenneth Faried's rookie contract: 4 years / $6,183,368 (signed in 2011)
Kenneth Faried's contract extension: 4 years / $50 million (signed 09/08/14)
Kenneth Faried's 2K contract: 5 years / $52.37m

It seems his low salary in the first year of the contract comes from his rookie deal.

I got all the numbers from http://www.spotrac.com/nba/denver-nuggets/ so if you wanna look at it more in-depth there's a link to the Denver Nuggets salary page. It doesn't seem to be a bug, in Kenneth Faried's final year of his rookie deal his salary is $2,249,768, so combine that with the contract extension and not having the exact numbers in 2K it's just a weird looking salary.

It's the last year of his 4 year rookie deal my dude. He was extended this year but his extension contract doesn't begin until the 15-16 season.
