NBA 2K16 Plans

I'll go with My League and I'll rebuild the NBA. It will look like the 76-77 season, when the ABA joined the NBA. Teams will play in the city where they used to play in 1976-1977, or where they began their NBA journey (for the expansion teams of the 80's and the 90's)

Have to agree I go into practice with multiple teams going through starters and bench before even playing a single game

So I do freestyle to get the timing down on players shots and get a handle of the controls and the shot releases. This year I will be using practice plays and scrimmage to get a handle of all the new pick controls passing controls.

I will usually go through every play in a team's playbook that I plan to use to see where to hit the players at. This year I can see me spending a little bit more time to get a hold of the new freelance offenses.

Forgot about the practice mode, was going to say the first thing I'll do is a couple of quick match to see all the changes but this would be better for that.

After that it'll be all mycareer until my player is good enough for ProAM

1st: Practice mode to get a feel for the game. When online I usually only call plays for permiter guys. But with the improvements in the post I may have to change that philosophy completely. So I'll want to get to grips with the different plays etc.

2nd: Start a MyLeague and just relocate a team, I want to play around with the customisation of the courts and jerseys. I could get lost in that for hours.

3rd. Start MyCareer. Simply because I will be playing proam with friends and I want to get accustomed to whatever the upgrade system may be this year.

4th. MyGM. I'll start a MyGM probably with one of these three teams; Sacramento, Denver, Charlotte. And I will eventually be moving them to either Alaska or Canada.

5th. MyLeague. I'll start a proper MyLeague. Probably with a lotto team, go through a couple years developing young talent and stock piling draft picks. Then start the rebuild.

6th. ProAM. By this point I'll have been switching between career and league/GM often. My buddies will have their career guys built up, mines should be okay at this point. I can't wait.

7th. MyTeam. I loved MyTeam last year despite the cheese. I just love the whole "collection" aspect to it.

8th. Pick and mix. By this point I'll have a career, league, GM, proam and myteam to take care of. And I'll be switching back and forth between them all.


The reason I leave the online stuff until last is to build up VC but also because I expect the servers to be iffy over the first five days or so.

If I can get into a decent online league that would also be awesome.

This game is too much as is and they haven't revealed career or myteam yet. Aside from Fallout 4, I don't think I'll buy another game until next summer.

Definitely going to practice for a bit and get comfortable with the controls. After that I'll start a MyGM with either the Bulls or Spurs and see where that goes. I'll also have a MyLeague going and will probably use a lower rated team to build up.

I'm start MyTeam first to check the improvements and sell unwanted cards I get since they will go for alot higher then a few months down the line.

I will then start MyTeam and have some fun.

Couple of quick games, make a MyPlayer(probably a PF this year), get Park and Pro-Am going, and may or may not make a MyLeague depending on if 2k fixed the problems with the potential rating. Ideally speed will matter in this game, and 3's won't be an automatic make everytime they're shot.
