Most involved with their fans as a Dev ever. That's pretty sick

Great topic Two4

I was going to start this when the game dropped because things get changed because people don't express what they like and want to keep moreso than complaining about what they don't like a bit too much.

All of the customizations the game has is one of my favorite things

1. They really have the commentary game on a top notch level. That aspect of presentation is really good.

2. Signatures they really try to make sure players have signature styles, I think this is really their calling card. Very specific team playbooks

3. Customization they really let you play the game the way you want to play it offline

4. The Dev's actually listen very carefully and interact with their community to make the game better. There have been countless items that have made it into the game I believe from a majority of posters on this board.

Player/Team authenticity.

I remember back in the day we used to come on OS and complain about Shaq not being dominant enough. Ever since then they paid attention, listened and did what they could to improve everything about player authenticity from look, to animation to actual on court play.

Every team, and player for the most part plays how they do in real life and that makes playing the computer fun.

Agree here.

Tendencies and tendencies sliders were at their absolute best this year IMO....even though they could still use some work...

I don't think anyone captures player/team differentiation like 2k does....

I was playing the Knicks yesterday and Melo spent the majority of the game facing up and posting...loved it

Complete Immersion! Graphics, Commentary, Franchise, Signature Styles, ect.

I think we're spoiled with the fact that the game has so many modes! I have a nephew that only plays myplayer, doesn't touch franchise, and a friend who only plays Franchise, doesn't touch my player. It's almost like two separate games! Amazing.

Re: What do you feel the 2k series does well?

I probably wouldn't have said this before but seeing the direction other sports titles have gone lately, I appreciate it soooooo much more now and that's the customization options, there is so much freedom in this game that you can almost create a new game within the game, from the deep sliders, to editing the players gear, attributes, tendencies, signature shots, dribble, layups and dunks etc. they have a shoe creator, and game modes that appeal to all audiences, including a sandbox mode called Myleague that's almost impossible to complain about because you control EVERYTHING. Really wish other sports titles would copy this format for their games.
