2K16 Marketing Affect On You

Gameplay is going to be more or less exactly like 2k15, unless they show something surprising and unexpected. Just watch the trailers they have put out so far and you'll see, the same spacing and boxing out issues are still there. I even saw a few players sliding around

The effect of 2ks marketing on me? None really. I just like to laugh at all of the guys around here that are on the verge of having a full blown Britney Spears moment because of the way they do it.

If they would just show some improved gameplay I would already have pre ordered. I already have Black Ops 3 pre ordered and that doesn't drop til November. Unless 2K has made minimal improvement it's only having a negative affect on me.

This. It is just peculiar that the cards are being held so tight by a company who sold 5+ million copies of a world class game. More questions remain unanswered than answered. We haven't seen any gameplay, don't know who is commentating or what has actually been improved? An uneducated consumer can be a dangerous proposition to 2ks bottom line. I can imagine that the game is finished... I am more annoyed than excited as well.

Why are some of you acting as if this year is any different than years past? When was gameplay info first officially released last year?

I am saying from what they have marketed so far it looks more or less exactly like the game I bought last year. Do I really need to spell it out directly for you?

I was wondering the same thing, but maybe it is because the release date was moved up a few days then the years before, but Marketing wise 2k cant do much more to make me buy the game its already a yearly purchase for me, all the marketing can do is make the wait seem longer.
