Re: Place your bets: who replaces Kerr?

Well 18.05% of voters are probably wrong now that we know Kenny Smith is part of the pre/post game and half time show with Shaq and Ernie.....

And then there were......well......however many.....

I'm still gonna go with some TNT personality (license or not)...... Reggie I'll stick with......

Re: Place your bets: who replaces Kerr?

I suppose it's possible but I just doubt it because he'll be cutting from the studio to the arena where he also is..... haha. So it will appear as though there are 2 Kennys......

Last year there were 2 Steve Kerrs though (during Warriors and Bulls games).....

But yeah..... I doubt it. Haha.

Maybe no one is replacing him? Could be they'll just go back to 2 caster format. I wouldn't mind if they replace Kellog.

Oh, nevermind then. Then I have really no clue. All in all sounds like a win for us though.

Well Kenny's back, just not as color commentator, just apart of 2k's version of "Inside The NBA" which is great by the way. I'm gonna stick to my guns and say it's definitely someone on TNT since that's been their trend outside of Kellogg (though he works for the same company since they all do college together). If the last 2 classic teams were leaked and it really is the 04 Wolves and 09 Cavs, that would rule out Webber or Miller. I think it's between like Brent Barry, Steve Smith, or Mike Fratello (who used to do Live).

You may be right.....the more I think Reggie, the more I think someone newer there who probably wants the exposure a bit more is more likely.....

That's a theory anyway.

Either way, it's really gonna feel fresh when we get into our first few games. A new 3rd commentator is kind of a big deal......

The fact Doris Burke is in there (being from ESPN) means anyone from anywhere is possible.....hell it actually could be Doug Collins or Hubie etc. but yeah...... it's actually working on me because I'm insanely curious! Haha....
