I feel like in 2k15 the ball was magnetized towards the offensive players hands too often though. You could block a shot and the offense would slide around and immediately pick the ball right back up.

It would probably require a lot of work to implement but I would like a system where a player has to be actually facing the ball and see where it is in order to grab/catch it. If a player goes to the rim and gets rejected, he has to turn his head around and find the ball with his eyes before he can direct his hands to it. It might not work on a gameplay level though, because some sacrifices have to be made in order to keep it fun.

For example I could see this being a problem with fast breaks and stuff where you want players to leak out quickly and having them looking backwards for the pass would slow them down a lot...actually that doesn't sound too bad/unrealistic
