Absolute, regardless of the camera angle.

Re: Camera Relative or Camera Absolute?

Broadcast camera relative. For me, it feels more natural to point the stick in the direction I want my player to go, not think about what my player is seeing from his angle and translate that to the stick.

At the end of the day, I just got used to camera relative first, and my couple attempts at playing with absolute were disasters lol.

Camera Relative or Camera Absolute?

I'd always played on camera relative on 2K cam until this year when I noticed I was shooting bank shots for the first time ever for some reason and changed to absolute to fix it.

Helped my shooting a lot.

So it might depend on what you shoot with the button or the stick. I use the stick.

I felt like something was off in that selection this year.

Same with dunking inside. I use the stick for dunking but It seems easier to standing dunk with the button than the stick.

I use Absolute while playing on the 2k cam. It helps for doing reverse layups, floaters along the baseline and eurosteps imo. Not to mention the dribbling.

Re: Camera Relative or Camera Absolute?

i always use camera relative. just feels more natural to me when the direction i press relates to where my player is facing, etc. it just throws me off too much to use absolute, where "down doesn't mean down," etc. maybe i should try absolute for a while and see if i could adjust...since i know you can get more consistent moves with absolute. i just don't know if i could do it.

Very hard to do between the legs consistantly or euro steps on relative broadcast camera.

Camera relative. I don't know how you guys play on broadcast/absolute when on the far side of the court since everything is backwards. It's a total mind-**** for me.
