2k AND THE OTHER GUYS HOLDING OUT ON FACESCAN?

Is it just me or do I sense 2K and the other guys holding out as much as possible on their facescan features? Maybe 2K was waiting on the other guys to drop the demo so they can then see how they were going to go about showcasing their own features. I really dont think that the the "delay" for the app not being ready by the time the demo came out was by accident. And on top of that 2K has not said a word 8 days before launch.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn't say their necessarily "hiding" it. I just say that their are so many bigger and better features that they would rather announce first. Some people forget; they don't want to give away the entire game before launch, they want people to be surprised.

I'm gonna be honest. I really hope the face scans are better this year in 2k. It literally took me two tries and five minutes to get a better face scan for Live than I ever had after hours of trying for 2k.

But Live as a game sucks. Please 2k. I hope its better this year.

I really hope it's an app because I can't justify dropping $45 on a camera just to scan my face in the game when the competition can do it for free. Unless I buy one and return it

I'm thinking about buying one and returning it myself too lol! I know I won't use the camera enough to justify keeping it plus the PS4 barely has anything for it. Now if it was like the Kinect where I could skype and etc I probably would keep it.

Gimmicks are gimmicks. Face scans are zzzzzzzz to me.

I'm betting if you hear nothing before the weekend there's no new app or anything. Just small updates to what already existed.

I was always planning to buy a Kinect and return it after I scan my face, but I hope it's an app so I don't have to go through the trouble of doing all that.

Don't underestimate the 2K marketing team and their ability to release news at the absolute last possible second before the game comes out.

Also, this thread is really stupid. I'm sure the face scan is one of their last priorities. While the competition is clamoring for anything to sell their game. Yeah, the face scan was great but the game was turrible.
