They should have given us different backgrounds
The kid from the inner city trying to make the NBA and has to work hard for it.
The guy from the suburbs who tries to prove that he belongs where everyone thinks he was handed everything from the start but actually busts his *** off like everybody else.
The son of a former player trying to live up to his fathers legacy and maybe pass him.
The international guy who played ball in another country trying to make it in America.

Anyway I'm not a big fan of the story mode in a basketball game. I don't think it's necessary it takes a lot of control out of the player. I liked what we had in 2k11-2k13 press conferences and stuff. All it needed was to be expanded upon really. More media interaction and conversations with your coach not a story mode.

I agree we needed more voice options. Even if it's the same script like someone said earlier similar to Saints Row. We just need more options it's a customization thing I want my player to be MyPlayer. MyCareer to actually be my career. Not 2k's player and not 2k's career.

Being Latino from a Dominican family I always call my guy Manny Ramirez lol. Wish I had a voice to go along with it.

Yeah I can't say this has to do anything with racism but I agree it should be open for others to be able to choose. At the same time I don't feel people should reach and say it's racist cause for sure this isnt the 1st year of this game mode and I never remember "racism" being a topic. They worked hard on the game so I'm just taking it for what it's worth. Thanks 2k!

Well it sounds like this storyline doesn't really last all that long anyways, so I think I'll be able to handle playing a handful of games until I can ditch my non-legitimate family and friends and just enjoy the story and cut scenes for what they are.

Once you get past the cut scenes, it sounds like it'll just be back to the way it's been for awhile now; being a guy that doesn't sound like yourself, but I'll still enjoy the mode regardless. Or maybe I just won't create myself this year. We'll see. I'm excited to try the mode out.

Asking a question about ethnicity is fine.

Going into detail about how you think the mode/script/etc is racist or not racist is a clear violation of Operation Sports Terms of Service. Please read it over if you need a refresher.

If you find something offensive take your complaint to 2K or somewhere else. It doesn't belong here.
