Amazon NBA 2K16 : Early Tip-off Edition arriving Tuesday?

I awoke this morning to find that my pre order shipment estimate was moved back to Tuesday. Is anyone experiencing a similar issue? Can anyone verify for me that their arrival date is still Friday?

My email today said Friday. Although I did notice that it says "Expected" rather than "Guaranteed" for the delivery date. Probably just a minor thing but might be worth noting.

have you guys gotten your emails yet saying its been shipped? Mine still says arriving tomorrow but I haven't received anything saying its been shipped?

I did two day delivery when I pre-ordered the early tip off edition as that was the option to get it this Friday(tomorrow)

I spoke with Amazon and received the following information regarding my copy:

"I've checked the availability for NBA 2K16 : Early Tip-off Edition - PlayStation 4, and can confirm that it's now back-ordered. I'm sorry about this delay--we certainly didn't expect this would happen.

I want to make sure your order gets to you faster once we have stock. To help make up for the delay, I've upgraded the shipping method to One-Day Shipping at no additional cost.

The new estimated delivery date of your shipment is on September 28, 2015 because the item is scheduled to arrive in our fulfillment center on September 27, 2015 but as soon as we receive more stock earlier than the estimated delivery date, we'll ship your order right away and send you an e-mail to let you know."

Pretty aggravated since I pre ordered on August 22nd....

Yeah, I looked at pre ordering at gamestop and picking it up but it appears to be too late now.

Amazon kind of screwed me on this one.... was planning on having a very unproductive weekend filled with 2k and now I'll have to actually find things to do.

A part of me wishes I had got it on digital so I could be playing by 9pm tonight. But I vowed to never buy digital with annual sports games like I did with Live and 2K15 last year -- those games are just sitting in my digital library, I can't get any resell value for them whatsoever.
