Noticed this on the PC version too after being able to focus on more than some early performance issues. It's like the ambient crowd noise is dialed way down, but the pops are still there. Sounds a little awkward when the home team makes a big play.

Maxing the crowd noise more or less brought it back to 2k15 levels (which I also still have on my PC and have been comparing to 2k16 all night while I deal with technical issues)

The default crowd volume is always WAY down in 2K games. I turn mine up to 85-90. Makes a HUGE difference to atmosphere.

Almost forgot - if you really want to test this out make sure you do it with the commentary off. The crowd noise is muted slightly while the commentators are commentating, and it's hard to get a good idea of the crowd's maximum volume. But that's also why part of why it sounds like a morgue on the default settings - crowd noise is at 40 while PBP is 95. It drowns out what little crowd noise there is left completely.

Yeah they have the crowd noise turn down to 40 by default for some reason, try turning it up.

Thanks for the feedback, sorry could not find the impressions thread for some reason and glad to see others noticed this right away. Feel free to merge

Turning the crowd volume up helps the overall noise but there's still a big lack of and glitches with reactions and there's really no noise at all until the 1:30 mark in the 4th. This was every game.

Also, turning the crowd volume does not translate to online so meh

If there's literally no crowd noise at all until the 4th for you, then you should probably put it in the B&G thread....definitely haven't experienced that....
