mycareer file corrupted

I couldn't access mycareer on NBA 2k16 today, kept getting the server error. When I deleted the corrupted file I could access MC again but realised all my previously spent VC's are gone. Feel like I have been massively riped off as it seems that the VC's spent where assigned to the corrupted file that I had to remove in order to access MC again. Is there a way of getting my 12k VC back?

Contact 2k. That's happened to me before on previous gen when I had 100,000+ VC. It will probably take a few days to get it back, but at least you'll get it back.

I'm a little bit busy to search for their number, but I think there should be a website or in the manual if you didn't buy digital.

This happened to me in 2K13 (I believe this was the first year of VC right?) to all my careers and I contacted them, they had my take pictures of all the files and their corruption messages and they refunded all my total VC spent throughout them.

I think some people took advantage of this and tried corrupting files on their own just to get it back and spend it on new ones
