It was January 29 when i was playing My Career and the game got stuck in a loading screen at 37%, the game then froze and finally, the game crashed to the console dashboard. I booted up the game to find my file to be corrupted. At this time i didn't know this series has been undergoing with the corrupted files, it was my first game. I don't have PS Plus in my account, my brother has his user set as primary in our console, this way i can still play online, but, i don't have access to the online cloud storage provided by sony (totally non mandatory, it is optional, even his account has it off by default) I went to google and find more about this error, and i found that people were coming to 2K's support site and send them the video they ask for, some details and that they would give you your VC back (in case you had no file uploaded to the cloud -in this case sony's-) So i sent a ticket, i was happy because at least i would not lose my $49,99..but what do i find? a lot of copy&paste agents all saying the same bull**** "it is not our fault, this is an error produced by the client end" and blablabla, that i should start from scratch, and that my money is lost. What is funny is that two of these agents told me the exact same thing, the only difference is that one was in spanish and the another was in english. "Trust me, i know what it feels to lose your file. I had to relive livin da dream myself one week ago. I asked my teammates and there is nothing we can do about it" Copy&Paste Then i found some users here in reddit talking about BBB (Best Business Bureau) i didn't know about them, i do not live in the United States, so i didn't know if i could give them a try. In this page you can fill marketplace complaints to a company, and they would send they the message for you, 2K games has over 400 complaints. Almost every complaint is related to VC. One even is about a guy who was offered a buy 35K VC get another 35K VC from the store, he made the purchase and only received 35K VC, and 2K refused to give him the other half, adding some bull**** excuses. I then asked to be redirected with a Supervisor, someone who is not a copy&paste robot and could actually help me with my issue, and then i got told: "Sorry, but with the launch of NBA 2K16 we have changed our policys and we are no longer refunding/returning missing VC" But what? there is a BBB corrupted file issue solved, and it was post-launch. They EVEN REFUNDED HIM 100%. I JUST WANT MY VC BACK. She then sent me some EULA policys and closed my ticket, saying that if i have another inquiry about any other 2K title i am free to come and open it, but if it is related to this subject, they would not respond me, they would just ignore my ticket. I tried contacting Sony with their live chat support, and the guy said that i should be able to politely talk this with 2K, that the data should be located on their servers, and more things, he could not refund me because the VC appears as 'used' in their system. **** 2K. Yeah, I was just looking at some retros and I LOVED the typography on those, so I decided to modernize it a bit.
