It really is a great addition. The bummer is that your teammates don't do this in designed plays in MyCareer; you can tell by the play diagram that there's a bunch of dribble handoffs designed into plays but they insist on passing you the ball instead of letting you come to them to get the handoff.

It should be a great addition to regular gameplay though.

Why bother doing iso dribble rubbish when you can do this?

Love your vids, man -- this game is a monster coming from 2K14. So many things different, yet better. I'm 1-3 so far in user-played games (my three losses 15+ point blowouts as I tried to shoot my way back in).

What I'm coming to learn is that patience, above all else, is being rewarded now -- when I work the ball around, get touches for multiple guys, the defense starts to bend and gaps show up. If I keep it stuck with one guy and go hero ball, it results in a poor shot/turnover/block.

I feel like I have to learn how to play 2K all over again and the challenge is invigorating. Anyways, thanks for vids -- you're a go-to example for how to do things.

Is there anyway to cancel the handoff it once you've activated it?

Yeah, sorta. You can slide your thumb over to Y while you're holding B and fake pass out of it, but that stops working once the receiver is near you. It's nice when you select the wrong guy to be able to start over though. I'm better at fake-pass canceling the cut to basket on Y than the handoffs on B.

Has anybody ever seen the cpu utilize the handoff?

Is it possible to pick who exactly I want to handoff with? I hate seeing my C trying to handoff to my PF

Directional passing, so nothing precise.

In pretty sure if you hold dribble hand off the whole time it will just hand it off when the guy is near. Letting go will "cancel" it and you will throw the pass at that time regardless of where the receiver is.
