    Rotation Logic broken AGAIN

Seriously 2K, how difficult can it be?

If I want Tristan Thompson to play 24 minutes off the bench, he should be playing around 24 minutes...not 12. If I want Iman Shumpert to play 28 minutes, he should be playing around 28 minutes...not 35.

I honestly don't get the point of setting manual rotations if they're gonna be replaced by 2K's standard rotation of every starter averaging over 32MPG. The minutes per position visual addition was great and I applaud that, but it only further exposes a major flaw in the rotation logic.

NB - I get that there are a number of factors at play - fouls, player performance, etc. but that still doesn't explain logic that has been fundamentally broken for far too long.

I got excited when I saw the minutes visual as well, but that excitement was gone as soon as I finished my first game. I had KG starting for the Wolves and playing 20 mpg as he is likely to do in real life this season, but the game wasn't having any of that. Same goes for playing Shabazz Muhammad bigger minutes off the bench, game refused to give him even 20 without my intervention.

      Re: Rotation Logic broken AGAIN

The two most ground breaking rotation issues are these:

Fast break 3 on 2's, the basket defender for some unknown mysterious reason that has been present since 2K13, comes up to stop the ball despite someone already being there. It allows an easy layup. I have to remember to switch to that person to stop it. Otherwise it's a guaranteed bucket.

PG driving from top of the key with a shooter in the ballside corner. The defender guarding the shooting runs into the paint to help. He is NOT NOT NOT NOTTTT EVER a helper in that position. Help does not come from the ballside. It comes from the backside. If there is a shooter in the opposite corner, HE can slide in to help. And the other defender must help the helper and take his place. Again, a problem that has been around for more than just this year.

I don't think you read the OP, this thread is talking about minutes rotations. But, you're not wrong.
