Please someone help title screen freeze

Game will load fine, and whether you skip the intro vid or watch it all the way through, won't advance past the NBA 2k16 screen. I'm on the Xbox One, if anyone has a quick fix please let me know, since now the game is useless to me.

You likely haven't finished downloading the update file. Did you try playing right away? The updates take 8-10 hours.
