    missed layups

Waaaaaaaay to many missed layups. I finally figured out how to blow by the defender but once I do I brick most of the layups ....it's madness lol. I know it can't be because of the d can it? I mean sure going in the whole with 2 or more defenders may cause a missed layup but going against one guy down low who isn't even the 5 or 4 and still missing layups is just wild. Can some help a brotha out? Lol thanks in advance .

        Re: missed layups

There are WAAAAY too many missed layups...Especially by lower rated players. These guys are in the NBA. Layups, with minimal contest, are almost automatic. This isn't reflected in 2K16.

The block logic is completely broken. I've seen guys miss so many dunks just because a defender jumped (not even near the basket to contest)...Meanwhile, James Harden dunks over 3 defenders like a prime Vince Carter. Very unrealistic.

People just don't want to miss shots lol. NBA players even blow wide open fast break layups sometimes. Brandon Knight missed one to win a game last year and you guys want to make contested layups even with bad players at a consistent clip? smh.

Nice try, but...There are waaaay too many missed layups and blocks from behind in this game.

The layups are fine IMO . Yeah I blow some but so do real players . Even NBA players don't hit every easy shot

Not like the ones I've seen in this game. Certain players, Ramon Sessions, for example....Cannot hit layups simply because somebody is in their vicinity, or within 2 feet behind them. UNREALISTIC. And, you probably play with higher ranked teams w/ deep benches so it doesn't effect you.

Most of the players in the NBA make between 50-65% of their layups. Even superstars miss open layups once in a while. I'll be glad to give hard stats and countless video to back this up if need be. Once all 2K players can finally accept the real truth about NBA players, not the Sportscenter truth, and stop making threads like this, we can continue to see realistic FG%.

Where did you get that from lol ? My favorite team is the lakers and I like to play with the Lakers , Bucks(I like their length) , Wizards (John Wall fan) , nuggets (Faried fan) , and Hawks (Hometown team )

Lol I get NBA players miss layups and I'm happy all don't go in my but man the amount missed makes it look like a jv league game . But then again if more was being made score would go way up as well as shooting percentage so I guess I can deal with it just have to adapt my game to it.

Finish with the stick and with the opposite hand the defense is on...I learned this in 2K8 when the layups were probably more brutal than they are now.....lol

This guy online was pretty damn good at it with the Lakers of all teams

                              Also, ditto on the dunks
