Happened to me twice online. First in Play Now Online and next in MyTeam just now. No offence to the posters in the bugs and glitches thread, but having the audio cut out is far less pressing as the game not working in the middle of online matches.
What happens is the game will start randomly not responding to my controller inputs until several seconds after I press them. Yesterday it started happening in the 3rd quarter, just now in the middle of the second. If I press icon pass, the pass will occur 3-4 seconds after I press it. Standing at the 3pt line open and press shoot? Well 3 seconds ago I moved the left analog stick so now my guy is doing a turnaround 3pt fadeaway from 3ft behind the 3pt line. This video was captured 10 minutes ago from my PS4, in which I had to forfeit a MyTeam game because the glitch was unbearable
1. You can see me inbound the ball and immediately pass the ball back. This happens because the game delays my initial pass command so I press it twice and 3 seconds later, both passes occur. I'm now aware the game is glitched again and call a timeout
2. As this happened to me yesterday as well, this time I decide to disconnect the controller and reconnect it, thinking it would help (it doesn't). You then see me trying to test out the pause menu to see if everything is back to normal. Its hard to identify the problem visually, but in that instance I press down and up on the dpad (immediately following me getting to the pause menu @ 0:24) and the action finally occurring at 0:27. From here the delay continues and you see me accidentally sub Powell in at sf because of the controller delay.
3. This possession was the last straw. There is more delay on the inbounds, I had to press R1+X then wait, because I didn't want to have my guy pass the ball back and forth again. At 1:14 when I pass the ball to my C, I immediately press pass to my pg (I pressed it at ~1:16 when my pg was right next to me). My goal was to do a quick step back with the left analog stick and square and then drive into the paint for a floater. What happens is the game not passing the ball until a couple seconds later when I'm at the 3pt line, then I run back even further and just toss the ball.
4. More delayed passing on the inbounds after the guy scores on me causing me to pass the ball multiple times. I press start, and maybe see if I can mess around and maybe it'll sort itself out (you can't see it, but I'm pressing buttons on the dpad far before they are actually happening in the menu), but then I just say f*ck it and quit.
What frustrates me the most is that the issue happens randomly. It happened once yesterday, but I was able to play 3 MyTeam games fine afterwards (same controller). Every other game works perfectly with my controller, this glitch is only happening in 2k. If a developer wants, I can upload the full 15 minute clips showing before and after the glitch if maybe that will help.
