Question The 'Jordan rules' defense

During some of the promotion media streams and articles, we were told the 'Jordan Rules' defensive strategy was in the game - does anyone know how to engage it?

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Re: The 'Jordan rules' defense

Its tied to the classic pistons team. Don't know if Czar implemented it into modern choices though.

Ah, figures it would just be the Pistons. That's cool. Really should've started by checking them first. Wasn't sure if it was available for all teams or not.

Sweet if it's exclusive to the bad boys only.

Re: The 'Jordan rules' defense

Just played with the Bad boys - not a menu or selection in sight for the Jordan rules.

2k dropped the ball on this, or is it yet another feature only reserved for online modes or my career?

It's only in game if you play bad boys vs Jordan bulls. Idk if it's only the 89 bulls or all Classic bull teams

Yep, played as the bad boys vs the 89 Bulls - wasn't an option anywhere for it.

I went back and read the blurb from Scott O'Gallagher about it. Sounds like it's an automatic in game thing - I played a couple of days ago Bulls vs Pistons, and after I was torching Dumars, they switched Rodman up on me, and I was getting smacked by Laimbeer on drives - guys had MJ on LOCK down.

Here's the piece from Scott below:

  • NEW – Legendary team adjustments (Some highlights).
    • Jordan RULES – Yes, the infamous “Jordan Rules” are in the game. The entire progression on how they disrupted Jordan’s rhythm in the late '80s is here. From where they forced him when he had the ball, to the change from Dumars to Rodman depending on success.
    • Scottie Pippen matching up with Magic Johnson - As you know this was the adjustment that changed the entire '91 series.
    • Gary Payton on MJ in '96 Finals.
    • Celtics adjustments to the Showtime Lakers.

Wouldn't it be cool if they had the Pistons ( and some of the other 80's early 90's teams for that matter. Commit harder fouls that weren't flagerant? Loved my Bad Boys.
