MyCareer Player Quickness

I made a 6'6 SG in MyCareer. Every time I try to blow by someone my player moves as if he's a big trying to do a crossover, it's very slow. So I decided to try it out with Kobe and it turns out he's able to move much quicker than my player despite the fact that his speed/quickness ratings are lower than mine. Are there any other ratings that would affect this? Also has anyone experienced this as well?

...I have a 6'6 SG, and blowin by someone is not easy. You have to really understand how to use turbo and the left stick to explode out of your dribbles, and when to do it to get the appropriate animation

Yeah I've been practicing trying to find the points at which to turbo but it's really hard. Haven't tried crossing with the left though, I'll try that.

Just like the poster said about playmaking.

You need high ball control to explode off your iso hesitation moves.

Anthony Davis is 80+ speed and acceleration but his ball control ratingsare in the 60s.

Kobe Bryant's speed and accelerations are in the low 70s but his ball control ratings in the high 80s.

The max my ball control goes to is around 68, so I guess there's really no point in upgrading it
