MC Becoming a Starter Bugged?

So, I have been outplaying Jrue Holiday and mid November I got a Tweet that said the new starter billboard is out and I was on there. I checked the team stats and it said, indeed, I was the starting PG suddenly.

So, I began the next game but Jrue Holiday was the starter. Then, the next game, he is the starter again and I continue to outplay him and the team stats no longer say I am the starter.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug?

I have experienced something like it but not where it takes me out of the starting lineup instead after every game I got named the starter, coach changes the starting lineup every game. It's crazy and the changes he does makes no sense whatsoever.

Yeah, I saw the same billboard with MyPlayer in the starting lineup... but it actually took another 5-7 games or so afterwards for me to actually start.

Ahh, okay. This makes me a feel a bit better. Perhaps it will just be a few games.

Yeah this year, maybe 'the billboard' replaces 'the talks' we had with Coach Doc Rivers last year... when we got those cutscenes and he said stuff like "if you keep playing THIS well, I will put you in the starting lineup soon".

Just keep balling out and it will eventually happen.
