Rebuilding teams

What teams do everyone consider rebuilding teams to start a season. Teams I looking at are....

Bucks
Magic
Hornets
Pistons

Re: Rebuilding teams

I'm doing a Nuggets rebuild. They are really tough to win with. Currently 0-9!

In a league that has stars win championships the Nuggets don't possess one. Mudiay is incomplete as a player. Gallo can't play D. Chandler is average. Faried is too small. Nurkic is just a role player. Bench is bad.

It's a team full of guys who are alright and decently athletic or can shoot.

Re: Rebuilding teams

My regular team is the Wizards. I like a challenge during regular season. I don't like to trade as much. If a team made a move in real life then I will make that same exact treaded in game. I might run with my second best team, the Bucks.

Re: Rebuilding teams

I'm doing a Nets rebuild and it's very challenging. I had to gut the team to get draft picks, but I did not have enough talent to get my first rounders from the Celtics back. I do not have any of my own picks. So far, one of my picks has turned into a 4th overall and the next year was the first overall... I hate watching the Celtics draft guys that should have been mine.

I've had to make the most out of my drafts. I killed it in my first draft. The guy I drafted late in the top 10 is a 6'10" 240 (muscular) SF/PF guy with a sweet 3 point stroke. He can really throw down some slams. He's athletic, but not uber athletic. He's a guy I can build my young nets around. He's my only offense right now lol.

I played well with him against KD and. I've been shooting over 50% with him and I've had some 30 point games. (I've only played like 3 with him).

I simulated a few games, and he kept putting up the same stat lines. The box scores looked a lot similar to how my played games looked. Neat.

Anyway, he had a 66 point game (sophomore year, he won ROY) against LeBron and the Cavs in which he went off for 66! points and willed my team to victory. That was a simulated game, but I guess he caught fire. He can shoot the ball, that's for sure. I made a home run pick and its so satisfying

Re: Rebuilding teams

This is a good year to do a Spurs franchise.

Once the big three leave, you have to build around Kawhi, LA, and Green. I don't know about you guys, but I found it hard to do that when I simmed through a couple years.

I got the #2 draft pick in year four. Granted, I simmed through and might have made bad team choices but Kawhi and LA couldn't do it.

I plan on starting another one where I play at least a little bit. I just can DRose UFO wanna do MYLeague or MyGM.

Re: Rebuilding teams

i have one that almost no one mentions.

portland. they have lillard and no one else. they lost LA, Matthews, Lopez and Batum. you seriously have lilliard and a whole new cast, and the cast is not that good.

its fun if you can handle losing and want to build a team around a young star.
