Pausing the game (in online matches)

WTF is up with that? I had a guy who press pause every time he got a chance. He would press pause after dunks, blocks or any other time he could. He quit eventually. But I was going to quit first. Anyone else seeing this? Or was this the only user?

I see the same thing too and I don't understand it. It's like their trying to skip an animation after a play or something. I'm not sure.

Or being a douchebag. I have played people who were ahead and done that on every shot or dunk they took. In that case, it's just a form of taunting....until I catch up and make them rage quit.

Lol this has been happening for years.

I remember back in the days when dudes would dunk on you and then pause the game and replay the dunk over and over and over again. Hell I've even had people pause the game and go into the stats menu to show me the box score of their team.

True story:

in previous years you had a limit on how long you could pause or the other user would get a chance to extend the time or take the win.

I was playing a guy that was taunting me by pausing all game. He was beating me too. So toward the end off e game I started doing it to, after little things, just so he would keep doing it.

Eventually he ran out of time; and then I took my time looking at the "quit and win or extend pause time" message before quitting and taking the win.
