NBA 2K16 Player Measurements (Height, Wingspan, Weight) Corrections

Listed below is every height, wingspan and weight correction needed for every player in the game currently on an NBA roster (including a few guys whom have recently been cut).

Updated as of the opening day roster update.

As far as the wingspan formulas go, I haven't begun inputting any of this as I won't begin editing my own roster until probably February. Like last year, I'll be dedicating all of my time at first to correction suggestions for the Official 2k Roster. Date of birth, draft info and jersey numbers were step 1, player measurements is step 2, contracts is step 3, shoes and accessories step 4, positions step 5.
So to input these wingspans into your roster, you'd need to do it within a MyLeague file at first. Within the player comparison tab in scouting is the only place you can see the actual wingspans in feet and inches. What makes this tedius is changing someone's height will obviously change their wingspan as well. Also, everyone's wingspan is set at 50 in edit player, despite each players' varying length, and as soon as you change to 51 or 49, it resets to default. I'll provide these numbers eventually, but it won't be until much later. (Here's hoping that in 2k17 they'll replace 0-100 with actual metics, that and body morphing of course )

Here's how I conducted my research. I referenced DraftExpress's combine numbers for every player they had available. For those without combine numbers on DE, I searched for confirmed measurements from NBA team workouts, eurocamp combine, etc and only listed a suggested change if there was confirmed evidence of a discrepancy.*

For the remaining 33 players whom I could only find rumors or no numbers at all, I called in a favor from a friend who works for an NBA franchise to get those players' measurements from the league database that's only shared amongst teams which is updated at the start of every training camp. We agreed on 25 but I was able to squeeze out 8 more luckily due to Minnesota having a bunch of "mysteries" on their squad. (Oh what I wouldn't give to have access to that entire database on my laptop lol)

For weights, I didn't go crazy as we all know how hard it is to know who actually weighs what. As you'll see when I post those, I mostly just used nba.com's listed weights to highlight discrepancies in 2k's. However, for the players whom I got directly from the database, I used those weights as well as those were for sure just updated this training camp.*

Teams do measure their players at the start of every camp. I saw someone in another thread questioning this. However, they are not required to submit the numbers to the league (what you see on nba.com). If there is a noticeable change they might, and some teams, such as Milwaukee this year, may update everyone (Antetokounmpo is listed at 222lbs). Many players unfortunately just prefer to be listed at their "playing weight."

Throughout my research, here are a few interesting things that stood out:

-Kevin Durant is indeed 6'11" with a 7'5.5" wingspan, no surprise here. However, he is actually 237lbs, so that 240 listing isn't as far fetched as some would believe.

-Paul George didn't grow as much as we thought. He is 6'9.5" with a 7'1" WS

    -KG is 7'1" with a 7'6" WS!!!

-Kyle Lowry is down to 180lbs. MVP

So here are all the heights, wingspans and weights corrections:

Re: NBA 2K16 Player Measurements (Height, Wingspan, Weight) Corrections

Why would you round down for some players and then round up for some?

    On Draftexpress...

Jeff Teague is 6'1.5 with shoes. You rounded down.

Darren Collison is 6'1.5 with shoes. You only listed him as 6'1.

JJ Reddick is 6'4.75 with shoes. You rounded up.

Kevin Durant is 6'10.5 with shoes. You rounded up.

How do you guys choose what to believe? For example, Justise Winslow is 6'4.5" without shoes but 6'6.5" in them. How the hell he grow 2 inches with shoes?

I'm a bit surprised that Tim Duncan is "only" 6'11" when that is considered to be by many is height without shoes. I'm also a bit shocked that his wingspan is only 7'3" and not a little bit longer.

And I also believe that Aron Baynes is a legitimate 7 feet tall and not his listed height of 6'10". He was measured at 6'10.5" without shoes during the pre-draft combine.

The way I will do it in my own roster if 2k does not change these is to basically do an eye test and check, as I haven't figured out yet a concrete formula that translates from player to player.
Go in MyLeague under the Scouting tab to Player Comparison. Under basic information you'll see wingspans.

As I said, players reset to the true "50" on the 0-100 scale as soon as you make an adjustment. I had thought that 50 for everyone (once an adjustment was made) was 4 inches longer than their height, but this wasn't consistent.

One thing I do know is that every 6 or 7 ticks is an inch. 47=7'1" 54=7'2" etc. JUST AN EXAMPLE, as I said I couldn't determine any consistency in the brief testing I did in relation to formulas.

I mean, I'm hoping for at least all the wingspan edits to make it in, and weights as well as those will be primarily "official" weights. We know how sensitive the league is with heights. But I'm hoping.

I'm not making fun of you but you do realize that when you put shoes on the top of your head is slightly farther from the ground right? That's all those measurements mean. Again, I'm not trying to be mean

Thanks bro, don't get too excited for weights, like I said, mostly nba.com except for the few I already had inside info on.

Timmy is actually one of the guys I got directly from my league contact. So that's how big Tim is as of the Spurs 2015-16 training camp.

I'm with you on Baynes though, just couldn't find definitive proof on him. What DE has on him aren't official numbers, I don't trust collegiate measurements at all lol

                          Or Vonleh being 6'9

Draft combine measurements. Technically Noah Vonleh is 6'9.5" so you're splitting hairs between 6'9" and 6'10" which is his listed NBA height. And Harkless wingspan was indeed measured at 7 ft which seems pretty spot on.
