I totally agree with everything said here. Audio/crowd needs to be fixed in those amazing game moments where the crowd would be going nuts if it was real life. We could always send the link to this thread to some of the developers and spokes people on Twitter or something.

[quote=iam31yearsold;2047798005]I'm a sound engineer professionally for 9 years now, it baffles me how they can't get this right.

I honestly think sound is last on the list for sports games.

Yea, it not really a sound issue...the sounds are in game, just not at the right time. It's more of a programming issue then a audio issue.

Seems like getting or recording crowd noise wouldn't be too difficult. A little effort on 2K's part. I thought they put the most effort into 2k12 with the classic arena atmospheres. Then they just got a little lazy

It's not the quality of the sounds cause there's good clips in there it's the fact it isn't programmed right. I could dunk on 4 people and the crowd won't even acknowledge it. The 4th quarter often sounds like the 1st quarter or beginning of the 3rd while everyone is coming back from getting snacks lol

What blows my mind is that it wasn't broken in 2k14 (current gen game).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AsB2Bv_9s4

It must be addressed, too way frequently the crowd is quiet during key moments, doesn't have any excitement from steals/blocks/dunks/big baskets... it takes away much of the fun since I love to play at Oracle but this year is way way less fun because of the akward reactions

And in the playoffs the crowd should step up... while there's no improvement... it only makes it look worse

Fix it please!

Couldnt agree more. This has been an issue for a number of years.
