I disagree. I rock with John Wall's package, you just have to know how to use it.

First off, use the shot stick instead of the Square or X button.

Secondly, JW's package works best with hop step layups and contact animations. I can clear a lot of space on contact layups and get past tough defenders. The hop steps are unstoppable once you get the timing.

Last, inside scoring is tough this year but not completely broken like in 2K15. Max out your inside scoring for more consistency.

I dont dislike walls layup i just personally want something a little less flashy and hes not over the top flashy like ellis hes on the lower end of the flash scale. Looks wise i like lawson and westbrooks. But i guess I should add floaters and eurosteps are my weapons of choice, but id like to hear everyones opinion on a all the layups a art thats underappreciated,in a highlight reel stuffed with dunks.

I enjoy the generic Gaurd and Swing Packages

If you're looking for a name brand though that's less flashy and more subtle: I don't have one for ya lol

Would you guys agree they should let you testdrive the packages in the gym before you buy? Yea they should add some more generic ones and historic like say dr j for example

Re: Layup package's pro's and cons

Like last year, D.Rose layup is best one for me. Besides signature basic layup, there is also signature eurostep and hop step layups which are good as well.

I use it on outside scoring sf who is terrible dunker and I have much better time scoring with it near rim than trying to dunk in park/pro am. I have tried most of layup packages and its the only one letting me finish layups with great success vs close contesting opponent. And it is not flashy at all, just simple arm stretch and laying ball in.
