Teams to relocate

For those who relocate teams in MyGM and MyLeague, do you move the least popular teams, or does the arena have to be a certain rating before you can move?

You can move whoever you want, or at least try to. I rarely try it in MyGM, but in MyLeague, I always move the Timberwolves to Seattle to become the new Sonics. The T-Wolves don't have much history, and if it weren't for the fact they were owned by a former state politician, they'd be prime candidate for a move.

Thanks for the insight.

I guess what I meant was which teams could be moved right after the first season of MyGM or MyLeague.

mmm...interesting. I might just switch my thunder back to default and rather make the timberwolves the new Sonics. Must say it just sounds better to me personally that Wiggins will lead the new Sonics in the NBA...

You can attempt to move any team in MyGM or MyLeague. Moving a team in MyGM is rather difficult, and I've given up even trying that. I've heard it works after three seasons, but I'm impatient! LOL. In MyLeague you can move any team I believe whenever you want. I always do it whenever I start MyLeague.

I tried to move the Kings to Seattle during my first season in MyGM, but I didn't had enough money to build a descent arena, it was only rated 3,2/10...

So for those who had succeed to relocate a team in MyGM mode (especially in Seattle, because maybe for a small market the problem is different...), I'm curious to know how much arena rating you need to reach to get a chance to move your franchise somewhere else...?
And also how much time it takes usually to get enough money for that...

Which teams would you consider "unpopular"? Pelicans? Grizzlies? Kings? Wolves?
