You really want and/or expect the game engine to actually somehow detect when someone is "cheesing" and refuse to call fouls for them?

I don't find anything wrong with the "zig zag." If that's how a player wants to run his offense so be it. Learn how to stop him effectively then maybe he'll do something else! Stop getting mad at people playing the video game effectively and winning. Just like they find ways to score points you all could be finding ways to do the same/stop them.

I get fouls only on the canned animations (especially the flagrant 1 calls) and on assistance blocks. I have my defensive assist at none, I just hate that I can feel the game pulling my player to his match up.

I'm hoping they fixed the CPUs constant need to bite for pump fakes. It's so bad that it's a legitimate strategy for cheesers now. I've played multiple users whose go to option was to go into the post, back me down and pump fake multiple times until the CPU bites.

You bite as well even when your controlling the player. You dont always have total control of your player even with the defensive assistance at 0.
