Need Help with Play Types.

Pick & Roll Point
Pick & Roll Wing

I don't see them in the play book. I know what P&R Ballhandler is,and P&R Man is the screener. They have them in the play book. Even Handoff is in the play book. But those two aren't, and i have no idea what they mean exactly.

If anybody could please explain.

They should be there - my understanding is it's less about "Point" as in point guard - and "Wing" as in SG/SF

Point being PnR plays starting at the top of the key, and Wing being PnR plays starting at the wing position.


If anyone can clarify against that, please do - as I've seen a few people argue its not PnR Wing for SG/SFs and PnR Point for Pass-first PGs

Having Pick and Roll Ball Handler as a play type simply gives you both Pick and Roll Point and Wing plays. Having Point or Wing is just 1 or the other.
