Yep. I believe it's a foul every time. At least every time I've seen it.

Yeah It was a foul, doesn't happen every time in my experience.

The early whistle definitely doesn't happen every time (watch it with sound and see how early it was) but when it does it's super annoying

The fouls that piss me off the most is when as a center, your man catches the ball on the baseline, you play hands up D but as soon as they catch it, they INSTANTLY fling up a spinning, backwards two handed underhand granny shot right into you. Never in my life have I seen a player catch the ball on the baseline and take a shot like that

Re: Improving foul logic in NBA 2k17

Am I the only one that hasn't seen a foul called on a blocked dunk? Sometimes I will see the defender's arm or hand go through the offensive players arm and impact the ball. It's pretty common to whack a players arm when they go up for a dunk in real life but I'm just not seeing it in the game.

In future iterations I wish 2k would do away with forced foul animations and recognize clipping of the player models as fouls. They do a good job with body contact but not so much with arms or hands.

What really gets under my skin is how blatant the fouls are when a defender is in good position. It makes absolutely no sense to just hack someone when you're not totally beat or at a huge disadvantage.
