Ball tangibility is a great realistic touch I would like to return as well. There has to be a balance when it comes to over-dribbling in traffic.
Yeah, I'm not sure why there is so much love for the "original" 2K16.

You couldn't hit a shot not to mention the CPU defense was OP as hell.

Post-Patch 3 2K16 is infinitely better than the OG 2K16 imo.

I hear you man but I prefer it's original state. I could hit plenty of shots in its infancy stage and break down the defense as I do today as well.

I love the minor fixes with the newer patches but I wish certain things weren't altered like weight difference and ball tangibility.

I have to agree. Now that we know that on ball D warping can be tweaked without completely breaking everything , there is really no reason I would want to return to the original settings. Not to mention transition defense. It's still needs work now, but it was even worse then.....

1. Defense was just as effective as offense

4. All the players felt different and had different weight to them (John Wall/AD felt dynamic and could penetrate off of quickness. Lebron/Demarcus a beast on block)

5. Contact layups were nicely balanced

8. Chase-down blocks and blocks in general were very rewarding (Albeit a bit excessive)

This this and this!

Do you feel the same for also patch #2?

For me things changed since this patch #3: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-included.html

I like the game before that patch so for me it's better on:
Original/Day one
Patch 2

Patch #2 is essentially the same game as day 0

Thanks for that link man! I thought patch two was damn near the same as day 1 but I couldn't recall.

Since patch 2 was essentially all bug fixes and no gameplay enhancements I'd definitely choose patch 2 or day one. I really miss blocking, minus the PG's going hard in the paint LOL

New things of late regarding patch 4:
1. On-ball defense slipperiness has been removed that was present on patch 3 (Reminiscent of day one on-ball defense)
2. Post offense not as prominent and I am not sure why they changed it.
3. Excellent releases (Green's) seem to miss even more now than before and they seemed to be properly balanced before as well.

I guess my biggest beef with patching this year is changing things that weren't complained about just for the sake of change. This reminds of the directional passing change 2K did this year; unnecessary but changed anyway.

Patch 4 isn't bad because it has introduced OBD defense again but I wish dribbling in traffic would be punished more (similar to patch 3, but not as extreme), REAL post offense reverted back to default and excellent releases weren't changed to miss more.

You aren't enjoying patch 4 at all?

It's not BAD and ACE is really updated but Patch 2 for me is the better of all....but I like CPU defense in Patch 4

Yeah, there is definitely some good in patch 4. My biggest concern with patching now is they change defense ability, as they did before due to the people saying it's too sticky again when that's not the case.
