I turned the game off. Seeing that hashtag plastered permanently while playing the game annoyed me.

I also turned off the game and reported this as a bug. I hope it's not permanent; might come back to this when they take the ad down.

Is it maybe just for NBA on Christmas Day? Is it part of Patch v. 1.04?

Just noticed it during freestyle session, only thing that amazes me is that if 2k wants to do something they most certainly can, no restrictions, they can market the game like no one but small things like shoes and proper colors and player skin tones and hairstyles take forever. We play the game but they play us LoL.

I like how they can add the ad/hashtag to the modes like MyCareer and MyLeague but they can't add the christmas jerseys to the modes. But anyways, it's not really bothering me except for that reason.

Yeah, me too. It doesn't bother me. I think it's kinda cool. Plus if it makes them more money, great. It only benefits the game as a whole.

Well, I mean, They are a business. I'm not sure why everyone acts like this shocks them. They do a ton of things for the fan base, but they are doing this to make money at the end of the day.

No need to have a giant #BRINGYOURGAME covering up a corner of the screen while playing. Pretty soon there will be adds covering every corner of the screen. I'm sorry, but it's ridiculous.

Also noticed that the rolling add board that's on the scorer's table now doesn't even change. It's constantly the Nike #BRINGYOURGAME add.

It is definitely intrusive. They could just have it for the jump ball and they'd get their point across. I looked at the hashtag on Twitter to see if others were complaining, and all of the tweets using that hashtag were Nike-sponsored athletes... So what once made Twitter appealing, hearing thoughts of professional athletes, has been taken over by advertising!
