Is NBA2K16 My Career worth the buy?

Hi guys,

Just wondered if My Career was worth the buy of NBA2K16 on the PS4? Since the MJ Version is of on the PS Store, I'm wondering if it would be a good buy.

I've played NBA2K since the 2K11 and always had fun, but this year, due to work and all the stuff, didn't had time to think about buying the game.

I've read a lot about the Spike Lee scripting and the love/hate of some people about the mode, but wanted to know from people knowing the game more than what I've red about it.

Don't waste your money if you're just wanting to play this game for mycareer. It really is as bad as they say story wise. But if you do enjoy the gameplay, then pick it up. Only if you plan on playing other modes tho.

The gameplay is really good, best 2k yet imo. With that said, I would absolutely not buy it just for my career. I'm pretty much a my career only player due to time restrictions but the mode this year is terrible. Just my opinion.

Thanks guys for the input, I will pass on 2K this year.

I play mostly My Career, RTTS, My player, etc. on most sports game since I don't have that much time for video gaming and those mode are not that asking overall in managing teams, etc.

I'll stick to RTTS with MLB 15 until MLB 16 gets out. :-)

Yeah you are better off creating a player with player lock in My League. I really wanted my career to be successful but I can't stand random generated no name teammates, no customization to teammates, no attribute building for teammates. So I ended up doing my league just wish I could watch from the bench with player lock. As for the story it's pretty bad and I like spike lee. But the game still calls you freak even after you change your name. My League + Created Player+ Player Lock is where it's at!

You really shouldn't pass it up. MyCAREER is a bit "eh" in the beginning with Spike Lee's narrative, but it gets a lot better once you unlock the connections and leveling your guy feels a lot more realistic this year.

If you already have 2K15, MyCareer there is way better than 2K16 IMO. Not worth picking up, unless you can grab it for cheap, like <$20.
