It's not the same as in 2K14 but i can accept this...

Can't call it man.

It's the same motion you described in the OP except you let the R stick go and pull it again right after you turn around. Pull it any time before that and it won't come out fluidly...

The computer can do it. There's no user input for some reason.

I tried for half an hour and manage to do something like that. In 2K14 it's a shoulder shake but in 2k16 it always dribble once before turning back for the jumper, and sometimes walks a few steps before the jumper.

Like I said I would accept this but still... can't understand why they didn't keep that move.

I'm sure I did see the computer AI doing it for a few times, probably there is an animation but no direct input.
