Strength needs to play a higher factor

In basically every area of the game. Boxouts, drives to the rim (this has improved over the years), defense etc. There is no way 5'9 Isaiah Thomas should be able to box out my 7'3 Center with maxed out athlete. Sure, there are PG's who could boxout some Center in this league...I've seen Marcus Smart do it, Russell Westbrook could probably boxout one or the other Center but no way in hell should IT be able to do it.

Re: Strength needs to play a higher factor

Seems like plausible input.

I see strength and size playing a role in aggressive post backdown but no not in rebounding as you mention it.

Re: Strength needs to play a higher factor

I agree. Strength, weight, and especially rebounding should make you be able to box out better.

Also the boxouts I see are usually just standard boxouts, no fighting for position back and forth. If you are 99 boxout and you're behind someone, you should be able to (in some situations) get around the opponent.

I was talking about the same thing but in the post. I feel like I do too much work with Shaq to get him down low at times.

Strength needs to play a higher factor

having a stronger post player on smaller player is doing fine. everytime when i play the spurs i will laugh away. when i used okc, the ai switch KL on russell and TP on durant. now i'm using raptors and the ai switch TP to james johnson. He is not a great post player so he doesnt draw a lot of double team and its easy to back TP and score under the basket.
james johnson is definitely stronger than TP.

That isn't the issue at hand.
