Why doesn't 2k use similar Matchmaking as other games?

The matchmaking is pretty all over the place in 2k. It can take 30min to just gather people, which can make for a tedious experience.

Examples of poor matchmaking scenarios:

When you want to join someone in the Park, you have to first go to the park (long load times) and then matchmake from the Park's menu and re-load (long load time) into your Friend's park server.

You can't invite anyone to your park either, you'd have to leave the park and invite them to your mycourt (more loading) and then both load into the park (more loading)

Meanwhile, in a game like GTA V - the game realizes that friends like to play on the same server and AUTOMATICALLY put you in a friend's server if they're on -why can't 2k?


Also, we need an "Allow Friends to invite to your Court" to make it even easier to fill up a pro-am squad.
