I've been experiencing the same issue!

For me, every since patch 3, I've been bricking wide open midranges.
It's super annoying. 3 ball also been weak for me as well. I have a 89 Mid and 3.

I think for park, shooting should be how it was in 2k15 BEFORE patch 4. Like around win patch 2 came around. I understand the whole thing about being realistic, but I like park as an arcade type of game mode.

Leave the realism for PRO-AM IMO.

Something wrong with your shooting timing. Taking midrange j's is most fail-safe method to score BY FAR, regardless if u get green releases or not. However any layup/dunk can be challenged easily to force bricks to any inside/balanced player .

As I have adopted to the no meter and no feedback shooting style: the green and yellow signal codes have become archaic and ineffective. I'm much better off now simply feeling my shot and watching the shot outcome to determine how good or poor my shot selection and shot type was.

It's definitely a much more natural shooting style and much less grievous as you no longer have a meter or feedback to argue with: you can use your own personal analysis based on feel. I know when I had a poor release because I feel and I generally do see it demonstrated in the outcome of the shot.

I do still have moments where I do feel a good or great release that is smooth as butter but the shot clanks: It's part of the game and probabilities are part of the game. I have also learned my hot and cold spots with the Kyrie jumper.

I can do a pull up middy on the right side much more efficiently than the left side regardless of how well my timing was. With meter and feedback on I would simply chalk it up as 2k BS but nah its a legitimate issue and perhaps it's because I'm right handed so pulling up on the left is not as natural?

I definitely feel more as a pure shooter with meter and feedback off.

You can just check in rosters this year. Last year he wasn't on any official roster.
