Unable to make an all-insert historic player lineup in MyTeam?

So I saved up all my vc to make a lineup of my favorite historic player(s)...who gets subbed in for their current player and hopefully their rookie version as well... But it's putting this duplicate restriction on any lineup I make.. Even for no lineup restriction modes..

Anyone know if there's any mode where you can use same player different year lineups.

Super disappointed I can't do this

The only way to play with multiple of the same player is Play Now and My Gm/League. You got to make a custom roster first though.
