This is a handoff play from the Warriors playbook.
1 (Curry) backscreens for 2 (Klay) then receives a dribble handoff. 9/10 both defenders will go with Klay and leave Curry open. Curry can then get the handoff and an open 3 or he can flare out and shoot. If they don't help then hit Klay when he cuts. Sometimes you can get the pass over two defenders if there's a height advantage. This play is useful for players like Curry, KD, Kyrie, Lillard, etc. Any player that can finish, handle and shoot.




Against Zone:

If the ball reversal is denied then 4 sets a ball screen for 2, then a pindown for 1, then he rescreens and it flows into a 2 man game.
