Re: Small Center Build

You can make any player work. I usually use the cookie cutter setups till people know i dont suck then slide in alternates here and there. Or all my nonmaxbuild setups all over walk on. Ive had more than one 30/20 game in walk on with 6'9 C.

Yep, Walk-On is far easier. Way more ball hogs, almost zero coordination, and often times one team won't even have a center.

My first ever walk-on game with this center (made him two days ago) and was playing with complete randoms. Eventually our PG quit because he started out 0/7 with terrible shots. Held my man (C) to 7pts (3/9) 3reb. Obviously this isn't some insane game but it just goes to show that you can walk on with a brand new no badge character and drop 20/20+ with randoms.

An undersized center would get eaten alive in the Pro-Am Arena against a competent team.

Re: Small Center Build

Im just wondering how undersized is too undersized. 6'8? 6'11? 7'1? Then even if you do well you wonder if you would have done better with your 7'3 guy.... I deleted the 6'8 center already. Was using exclusively at park and has been replaced with 6'7 Inside PG for that purpose.

Re: Small Center Build

I think if you're good - you're good.

I'm 6'7" PG and I get stuck on Centers a lot and I love it because I exploit the hell out of the matchup.

Just yesterday I was playing a semi-famous 7'3" Legend 3 Center and his squad (some YouTube squad CJSOCOOL) and I was assigned the Center. Not only did I keep the Center in check, but I blocked him and changed his shots often. And on offense, I dunked on him easily by beating him with my speed and baseline cuts.

Just make sure you beef up stats in the areas that make being shorter an advantage (speed/dribbling) and exploit those advantages.

Ibe watched him and played against him . He's not very good at all . You'll get away with an undersized big better at the park than pro am
