The plan was to run down the clock or get a good shot if there was one. It's hard to pass up for sure points.

Flagrant fouls should definitely exist in NBA 2K, but those animations should only trigger if you're using the most aggressive contest in the game (right trigger + jump).

I don't think that flagrant foul animations should be triggering if the defender is simply holding the left trigger/right joystick or is doing the vertical contest (left joystick towards baseline + jump), as those are all conservative ways to contest a shot.

My teammate in this Pro Am clip said he was using the vertical contest command and he still got hit with a flagrant foul:

I've also seen flagrant fouls happen tons of times in Pro Am when defenders are simply holding down the left trigger or right joystick.

Sucks to get that flagrant call, but what a huge shot by the big man to take the lead. You have to trust your bigs.

So just because it happened against you in OT and you lost a game you want to remove a feature the community has been asking for for years?

I love the flagrant fouls. It's pretty rare for me. I've probably only seen it 3 times since I bought the game at launch.

Most the fouls that are so called flagrant aren't any worse than regular calls or non calls in the game. That's my issue with them. It also seems like they are forced into the game.
