Something interesting happened today. People started hitting Greens from the top of the key/wings.

We are now back to (a near) patch four. If this is an indication of things to come, 2k will have ruined their game for a second straight year. A screenshot for you to fear over.

We will update with further games once we take advantage of this and get easier teams.

Were they making contested step-back corner threes? Until then I can't call it patch 4. What's wrong with green releases from above the break and the wing? Different mode but you can still play defense.

Not even just the corner from all around the perimeter. I'm talking about a contested perfect release from damn near half court.

Damn - you guys got walloped by hurricane huarache.

Playing in Park between 10am and 12pm ET today: I didn't experience any results close to this nor did I witness anyone performing at that high of a level.

This will be interesting if 2k tweaked Pro Am today.. if not then your squad just got train-wrecked by some horrible law of probabilities lol

You do realize that this is the definition of patch four? If you are allowed to green from 3, people will change from taking good shots, to taking 3's like before.

It's not... every shot is green... but the mere fact that 3's are being green'd will break the game.

I held this GSW user to 41 points. Steph got so cold that he missed two open shots at the end of the game.

I want going to post this. But I had seen this a few days ago. I didn't care in the moment. I won the game anyway. But my opponent hit few of these shots.

All I can say is that I won. But it did puzzle me lol

I don't think patch 4 has returned. Might be a one off situation.

The thing about that game was that I was forcing the ball out his hands and guarding him once he crossed halfcourt in single coverage. He rarely shot and when he did there was a hand in his face. He had no rhythm at all.

The first shot was WIDE open, second was open. If you don't consider those shots open then I'm guessing your opponent was taking similar shots and making them?

Those shots aren't open because there is a defender there. in Real-Life? Yes, he is WIDE OPEN. in 2k, there's a defender near him adding a contest

Why on earth would it be bad if you hit green release on 3pt shots?

I mean you know your shot, it is normal that you get a perfect timing.

If people get green release against you, it's because you are very bad at defending. Nobody makes a perfect jumpshot with someone defending on him.

I made this shot last night. Im guessing 2K was making it up to me for that BS block that sent it all the way there.

The shooting does still need work but I've played multiple games where my opponent scores between 29-45 points.
This is timeout was at the 2:50 mark in the 3rd quarter. He ended up quitting before the 4th.

One weird thing I see in the first video. How did you get that shot clock in the corner? When I play MyLeague I never get that shot clock.

404 patch 4 not found, i welcome the ability for stick skill to finally play a role rather than flipping a coin when shooting 3s. If you defend they still can't get greens. Only wide open 3s can be greens and that's if the player releases it at the right time obviously. I like this much better than going 1/7 in pro am after missing the first 2 corner 3s which were wide open and right on the white line of the meter which would have been greens before the nerf. Please keep it this way 2k stop flip flopping.

I don't think that the shooting now is that bad. Probably still needs a little work but it's fine how it it for now.
