But this is 2k, we'll never see those types of songs in a basketball game.

It doesn't really fit. Even if the music is good.

I'm not a fan of these bands, but I do think 2k needs more diversity in its music genres.

Not sure if the NBA's marketing is to blame or if its 2k, but 2k definitely has a Target Demographic it aims for.

Just look at the 2k Park Store... every clothing choice looks like it came out of a rap music video

Like the song list and you got down on my luck on there, man that would be a great addition to the soundtrack that's a great song. Also to the guy who said he'd want Kendrick Lamar's westside right on time, I completely agree with you I've thought it should've been on 2K when it first came out.

That said, there should be more diversity and hopefully 2K continues to add that as they have a good amount of songs that aren't rap. Down on my luck is a perfect song for 2K imo.

"Electric Feel" would be AWESOME to have on the soundtrack. Such a great song. Can't help but smile when I hear it.

Dunno about 2k17 but I was surprised/impressed 2k16 had Living Colour, “Cult of Personality” ... classic awesome song

Can we bring back custom music? If the ps3 version could do it (kind of), then Next Gen should be able to.

I loved using my own music in the arenas and if I could put em in the menus too, that'd be cool.

Took me back to San Andreas lol going out to Las Venturas in the desert on a motorcycle.

That would be cool MLB 16 is doing that for the PS4 bringing back sounds of the show and they did a lot of work to somehow get that in. Don't know if that could work for 2k though PS4/XB1 are different and stuff from last gen.

MLB The Show has brought back custom music via USB for Sounds of the Show on PS4. I'm hoping 2K follows their lead this year. I need my custom arena sounds back! Plus, like you said, it would be cool to just add our own music to the soundtrack. As for the soundtrack itself, I'm pretty cool with the diverse mix we have with 2K16. Just stick to that model. No more John Legend (as much as I like him) in basketball games. That slow stuff just kills the vibe.

Yeah there needs to be more diversity on the soundtrack after a while you get tired of hearing the same rap songs over and over again.
