As someone here once told me, 2K calls blocking fouls on the sidelines and time line to prevent cheesers from using the animation to their advantage and shoving someone backcourt or out of bounds.

I should have elaborated. The entire clip is about me playing good defense and getting a foul called on me.

I thought you were talking about the animation where your player just falls down for no reason and gets a blocking foul called on them lol. I'm not sure why the devs implemented that into the game. It just seems like a weak way of bailing out the defense.
