Official NBA 2K17 leaderboards & Stat Tracking
As all of you mat have experienced over the past few years with online modes such as MyPark, Jordan Rec Center and most recently Pro Am, there hasn't been as much detailed stat tracking as we used to have in last generation titles.
I'm talking about leaderboards that detail every last stat about these My players from DNF percentage, efficiency, rebounding, assists, steals blocks, triple doubles, double doubles, 3pt percentage, ft percentage...etc.
Having these stats available to users in MyPark or Pro Am would help weed out the folks you wouldn't necessarily want to play with especially if you're trying to win games.
The last time I remember seeing leaderboards with in depth stat tracking was 2k11. I even have fond memories of a 2K community website which included and kept all of those detailed stats of each player. Hell, I even recall you being able to keep stats of your crew. You had wins, losses, who played in each game, who your opponents were, and how much each person scored and all the stats for each game.
Why does it feel like we've gone away from that in next gen? I thought we were supposed to be getting more of that in the next generation of gaming. To me everything seems bare bones. I'm suggesting we as an online community should have access to all of our statistics from every single online mode and also a dedicated website that allows to follow every game played to determine what we're good at and what we need to work on.
I'd live to see this come back for 2k17 and the future 2k games. What do you guys think?
